Clinical Experience

I have been practicing cardiovascular medicine, including prevention, for 15 years. I also have many years of experience treating women with pregnancy-related heart problems and for several years have seen patients in the Diabetes Cardiovascular Clinic. 

Areas of interest in women’s heart health

I am interested in understanding the symptoms, illnesses and treatments that are specific to women. I am also interested in assessing and reducing women’s risk for heart disease by helping them adopt a heart-healthy lifestyle.

I am excited to be part of a clinical team that wants to explore the benefits of group support and improve patient education and access to medical providers.
