Red Wine Poached Pears with Vanilla Yogurt

4 semi-ripe pears, peeled, stems on
Put pears in a sauce pot and cover with wine, add sugar.
Simmer for 30 minutes or until pears are tender, let sit in wine to deepen color.
Cut pear in half and gently scoop out the center (seeds).
Serve with vanilla yogurt.
