Caramelized Cipollini Onions

Contributor: Ashley Hightower Makes 4 serving(s) + Ingredients12 cipollini onions, peeled 1 tablespoon or less extra virgin olive oil ΒΌ teaspoon salt + DirectionsBring a shallow stainless steel pan to medium-low heat. Add oil and swirl, add whole onions and reduce heat to low. Let cook, turning occasionally for about 30-45 minutes, add salt about halfway through. Onions should be caramelized and golden in color.
