What is Live Red?
Live Red is heart-healthy initiative brought to you by the University of Virginia Health System. It is an online resource designed to increase awareness among women of the risk factors and symptoms of heart disease. Each month we bring you the latest information you need to know regarding nutrition, fitness and research findings to support and maintain a heart-healthy lifestyle.
What is Club Red?
Club Red is the community space within the Live Red website where members can post comments on articles, write recipe reviews and share tips for improving heart health with other members.
Is Club Red free?
Yes, becoming a member of Club Red is free. At times, members are invited to attend events, such as cooking classes that may cost a nominal fee. These events are offered as a benefit of membership at a greatly reduced price. The decision to attend any event is entirely up to you.
Why should I become a member?
As with any lifelong commitment, making the commitment to live heart healthy can be a challenge. Club Red offers a community of women sharing their stories of success and inspiration to help you on your journey. Plus, you’ll receive great membership benefits like a welcome gift, discounts at our community partners and invites to member’s only events.
How do I become a member?
Joining Club Red is easy. To create an account you must live in Virginia and have an email address. If you are ready to get started, you can sign up now.
Will my membership ever expire?
No, you will never be asked to renew your membership. If any of your profile information should change, simply visit “Preferences” to update your account.
Do you have to be a member to read articles, recipe reviews, comments or forums?
No, anyone can read all of our heart-healthy information. If you’d like to join in the discussion, please take a moment to register with Club Red.
How can I tell my friends about Club Red?
